Snapper Results

A big congratulations to our team guys for their results at the Quiksilver Pro held last month.

Tiago Pires’ training in the off season proved to pay off, with his power surfing being the talk of the contest. Surfing unbelievably on his trusty 7Curvethroughout the entire event; he advanced all the way through to the Semis only to be knocked out by the king himself, Kelly Slater.

Wildcard Matty Banting surfed amazing in all of his heats & the only CT surfer to beat him was 10 x World Champion, Kelly Slater! He took down Kai Otten in his first heat, then advanced smoothly through World No. 4 Bede Durbridge. Matt was riding his Cayenne.

Laura Enever is the rookie on the CT tour this year but she surfed like she’s been on it for years. Laura made it all the way through to the Semi’s knocking out some pretty big names along the way including current World Champ Steph Gilmore. Laura also showed the rest of the world what a big heart she has when she stumbled across a little girl busking at the Quiky Pro… this little girl named Pacha was busking to save up enough money to buy her very own surfboard. Laura loved her dancing so much; she helped Pacha’s dream come true and gave her one of her own Chilli boards.Check out our blog to watch the clips. During the event, Laura was riding her StepDown.
