Simon's Mollusc shortboard is a hybrid with all the performance aspects of a short board. A fuller nose combined with a single to double concave, produces a surfboard that catches waves easily, but still performs with speed and responsiveness.

The Mollusc can be ridden with a swallow or a round tail. Simon recommends a round tail for connecting deep carving turns on the face, in good waves. For the larger size boards 6'5 and above or wider than 20 1/4"� there is an added vee through the bottom half on the bottom of the board. This added vee assists with rail to rail transitions.

The Mollusc is ideal for small waves up to 5ft.
