Not a fish yet not a regular short board. Step Down an inch or two, generally 1/4" to 1/2" wider and a touch thicker.

The Step Down shortboard is based on the CN Curve but has a lower faster entry, slightly more concave and a straighter tail curve.

Chilli kept the rail line the same so that the board still performs like a normal short board. It has a flatter deck and more volume in the front half to help with paddling and small wave surfing. Add defined hip, wider, hard square tail and a single to double concave for a great speed and release combination.
