The Three on a tree shortboard is inspired by the surfboards ridden by Col Smith (a total ripper) in the 70's - 80's.

The surfboard gets you in nice and early so you're setting yourself up when the others are still paddling. This is a great experience for young guys who are generally shortboarders, and a real plus for older guys who still want to ride a shorter performance board.

It's very responsive off the tail and the old school foil allows for forward trimming which makes this board a great tube rider. It is of course very different to a modern shortboard but has many similar attributes, all with the glide of a single fin.

Bottom line fun in small waves but really lights up in good waves, hence they make a really good travel board.
