The Simon Anderson DSC (Deep to Shallow Concave) shortboard is based on a winning formula that creates immense speed and hold through turns. A slight single concave with a smooth rocker, low soft rails and rounded pin tail to handle the extra power and speed.

This surfboard is your step up board for surf in the 5-8ft range.

For 2009 we are increasing the concave depth slightly through the back half of the bottom, along with a little more width in the plan shape at the nose area. Fins are moved forward as well, producing a faster freer feel to accommodate the modern approach to surfing in bigger waves.

For the “DOUBLE STEP UP” board there is vee from half way through to the tail. The bottom formula is slight single concave up front going to double concave through to the vee apex, which is around the forward nose area. The vee then fades out to flat at the rounded pin tail. The longer the board or larger the surf the less concave and more vee applied through the DSC surfboard range.
