An ultra high-performance Dane Reynolds signature shortboard designed for radical surfing in solid and/or punchy waves. Excuse you for thinking it, but this is not the Dane Fred Rubble. The Channel Islands DFR is a new design from Dane Reynolds. An ultra-modern short board, the plan-shape allows for a short rail line while maintaining drive. The bottom is predominately single concave with an aggressive flip in exit rail rocker.
This short board is not only ready for big airs but also allows for the heaviest carves imaginable. A full outline provides enough volume to ride the DFR about the same length as your height.
Best suited for intermediate to advanced riders, this surfboard will come into its own in anything from knee high to overhead waves.
To give you an idea of which is the best size for you, Dane rides his DFR at his own height: 6’0'' x 19'' x 2 3/8''.
