Channel Islands / Al Merrick Semi Pro 12 Surfboard **

The Semi Pro 12 is the round-tail (as opposed to squash-tail) version of the hugely popular Semi Pro, designed by Kelly Slater in 2011 (which was ridden to three WCT wins and a 10th world title). It continues to stand the test of time as one of the ultimate all-around shortboards. With 5 FCS fin boxes (tri-fin set included) you can ride this as a thruster or a quad.

This versatile stick will perform with aplomb in anything from waist high to well-overhead waves.

Fine-tuned during the course of Kelly Slater's 2011 ASP World Championship Tour campaign, in which he won title #11, the Semi-Pro 12 comes from Kelly’s wider forward outline which incorporates a 12” nose.

The main purpose of this design change was to allow for more volume which translates to easier paddling and wave catching, while still accommodating a short rail for Kelly’s signature arcs

Can be surfed as a thruster, quad or a Knubster as Kelly does. An amazing all-rounder.
