The DHD fin has a little extra area in the base giving plenty of drive whilst the elongated narrow tip offers a balance hold at the bottom of the wave, and release off the top. A bevel on the leading edge in conjunction with a flat inside face on the side fins allows for smooth, yet fast directional changes at high speeds.
