Ordering & Payment

There are 2 ways to order:

  1. Online: Simply browse or search for what you're after using the menus to the left and above, then add the items you wish to purchase to your shopping basket, and checkout by paying with your credit or debit card, it's secure, quick and easy to use. We accept most major card types, including Master Card, Visa, Visa Electron, Delta, Switch, Maestro, Solo. We also happily accept PayPal.
  2. Phone: Alternatively phone through your order; by calling us on +44 (0)1736 757025.

Special Orders:

Special orders, such as a custom surfboard, are taken over the phone as we like to discuss your requirements to ensure you get exactly what your after, prior to placing your order we will ask you to confirm you are happy, as ultimately it's your responsibility to check that all the details are correct.

All special orders require you to pay £100 deposit when you place the order. We are unable to provide refunds or exchanges on special orders, unless we have failed to fulfill the order as it was requested.

Delivery Policies:

We ship all goods within the mainland UK via Royal Mail, DPD or TNT. All surfboards are sent via TNT, who provide a fast and comprehensive next day delivery service to the UK mainland. Wetsuits and other large items are sent via DPD. All other smaller items are sent via Royal Mail using their first class signed for service. These usually take 2-3 working days

We endeavour to dispatch all goods on the same day, if ordered before 2pm. Orders made after 2pm are normally dispatched the following day. Deliveries are made Monday-Friday between 9-5pm.

For International Delivery we endeavour to deliver within 7-12 Working Days anywhere in the world, the carrier used depends on the country of destination.

Please note that goods delivered to outside of the EU may be subject to a Customs and Import Tax. This is the responsibility of you, the importer to pay. Please seek guidance from your local customs office for more information and current duty rates, as this changes from country to country and is beyond our control. If the duty is unpaid, the product may be impounded by the Customs office. In this event we would be unable to offer you a refund. If the item is returned to us, we would be able to offer you a refund for the product paid, minus any postage costs and any extra costs incurred in returning the item to us.

As from 1st January 2021, the UK will leave the European Union and the EU single market. We will continue to sell and send products to all countries inside the EU, as well as countries outside of the EU as we have always done.
For countries inside of the EU, you will no longer pay our UK VAT when purchasing our goods, you will instead pay your own country’s VAT when receiving the goods. If you are unsure of the VAT rate in your country, you can find more information here.

We will provide all necessary commercial invoices and documentation for the couriers, to ensure seamless transport of the goods to you.
For countries outside of the EU, nothing will change, and you can expect for us to provide the same excellent service we have done for over 20 years.

In the event of extreme weather condition or circumstances out of our control, we cannot be held responsible for your order not arriving Next Day. However we will make every effort for your order to get to you as soon as possible.

Deliveries on Bank Holidays, Saturday and Sunday are not available. Please note that orders processed after 2pm on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday (or Tuesday when a Bank Holiday falls on a Monday).

In the event the item(s) are out of stock, you will be contacted and the goods will either be dispatched as soon as possible or an alternative item will be offered.

Postage is charged once per order, not per item ordered.

Refunds, Replacements and Cancellations:

We endeavour to supply only the highest quality product and we believe that you will be delighted with your choice from Down the Line Surf Company Ltd. However, if you are unhappy with the product in any way it can be returned to us following the simple steps outlined below.

We accept returns up to 14 days after the date of dispatch. If you wish to return an item, simply fill out the returns form enclosed with your online order and return to us at the address given on the returns form, and also stated at the bottom of this page. If you do not have the returns form, simply enclose a cover note containing your contact details and your order number, and we will contact you when it arrives with us in the shop.

Please Note:

  • Any items returned must be in the original condition that you received them from us with all packaging and tags intact.
  • If you wish to exchange an item(s) you have to cover the cost of the return postage and there will be an additional postal charge for the replacement item(s).
  • If you are returning an item to us for a refund you must cover the cost of postage back to us.
  • If you have received an item that is faulty, or has been sent by us incorrectly we will refund the cost of any postage due.
  • Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on underwear, bikinis and earplugs.
  • You are responsible for the item(s) until they reach us.
  • For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method, which requires a signature upon delivery.

Should you wish to cancel your order, contact us before dispatch and we will refund your payment. If you wish to cancel after the item(s) have been dispatched please follow our returns process.

We reserve the right to cancel orders should we identify an order to be fraudulent or if shipping costs are out of proportion to the order value.


Security, Privacy

Security & Privacy:

Down The Line Surf Company Ltd holds the minimum information to ensure your order is processed and delivered to you successfully. All address and contact information collected during the order process is stored securely and will not be shared with any third parties without your permission. No credit card information is stored by Down The Line Surf Company Ltd within its online processing, this is done for your own peace of mind. All online payment processing is done by Paypal.

Cookie policy:

We use cookies on this website to track what products you wish to buy and allow you to purchase them. If you turn cookies off you will not be able to purchase products from us online. We also use cookies to improve the performance and enhance your user experience over time. Any information we collect is considered private and is not shared with third parties.

We are a friendly bunch down here, and we pride ourselves on excellent customer service.
