Jason Stevenson's first release of a twin fin looks to be a sure fire winner! The Black Baron is built to excel in smaller waves. The JS Carbon Fusion EPS technology pairs perfectly with this board as it's lighter and more bouyant, yet still a great performer. The flex pattern of the EPS Carbon Fusion specifically engineered for waves that require you to generate your own speed. It provides plenty of pop and speed... ideal for twin fins. This suits the type of boards you want to ride to make small waves exciting. They don’t need all the layering of a HYFI, and with less layering, comes more flex.
Waves: Best suited to small waves that require you to generate your own speed.
Rocker: An overall low rocker enables you to generate speed and glide in small to average conditions.
Glassing Specs: EPS carbon fusion glassing.
Bottom Contour: A vee throughout the board from nose to tail with a double concave through the fins. The allows the board to go from rail to rail with ease.
Rails: The Black Baron has flat low rails as a result of the board's flat deck, hiding volume in the right places for extra float, but also allowing for extra speed.
