The Black Baron 2.1 has been stretched out and refined, with a touch more rocker added. This allows the 2.1 to excel in bigger more powerful conditions with more control than you would get from a traditional fish outline. The additional center fin also allows you to ride it as a Twin+1 when you want to tone down the glide and looseness in bigger waves.
If the Black Baron is your go-to summer ripper then the 2.1 is the board you grab from the car when the swell suddenly doubles up.
